Born in the former Soviet Union, Olga graduated from the Moldovan Academy of Ballet Dance (Russian Vaganova Method) and the University Musical Theatre and Fine Arts in Chisinau. She was awarded the Diploma of the First International Festival of Classical Dance "Chisinau-1998" by the world-renowned artist Sergei Diaghilev, and also received diplomas from international competitions in Austria and Romania.
After graduation, she balanced her ballet career with preparing children for local competitions and annual exams. She has served as a judge on numerous television shows and given master classes in several European dance schools. Her professional performance career includes being a soloist with the Moldavian National Opera and Ballet in Chisinau, the Principal Ballerina of the Grand Theatre Ballet Russe in the United Kingdom, and dancing with the Crown of Russian Ballet in Moscow. Additionally, she worked as a dancer and guest teacher for the Moscow Ballet in the United States.
Her performances have graced prestigious venues across the United Kingdom, Scotland, Wales, Germany, Russia, Greece, Austria, Ukraine, Belgium, Romania, the Netherlands, the United States, and Switzerland. In January 2014, she received the Outstanding Teacher Award at the Youth America Grand Prix semifinal Ballet Competition in Dallas.
She has conducted auditions for the Bolshoi Ballet Academy on behalf of the Russian American Foundation in Dallas and New York. In early 2019, her Russian Ballet School was chosen to conduct auditions for the Kirov Academy of Ballet's Summer Intensive program in Washington D.C. most recently invited to conduct auditions for John Crankos summer intensive.
Currently, she is the Head Ballet Master and Rehearsal Director at the Classical Training Program TDC in Dallas, TX and assistant coordinator for Washington D.C. Gran Prix. As a former professional ballet artist and the former owner/artistic director of Olga's Russian Ballet School, she brings a wealth of experience to her role. She continues to share her expertise through teaching and private coaching at various schools. With a degree in dance pedagogy, she is deeply committed to dance education, and her illustrious career spans numerous countries and prestigious ballet companies. |
